Heaters for Ocean-Going Vessels
Volcanic has supplied both on-deck and below-deck heaters for ocean-going vessels for more than 70 years. These rugged and durable thermal fluid heaters are used to heat cargo such as asphalt, bunker oil, crude oil, sulfur, and supersaturated solutions of salts. They ship skid mounted, ready for service on the vessel. We engineer each system to suit the requirements of the barge, particularly for below deck applications where space constraints are of utmost importance. We also offer superior thermal efficiency with our conservative heating coil design. Volcanic Marine thermal fluid heaters meet all US Coast Guard and American Bureau of Shipping Requirements. Our heating coils are ASME code stamped to section VIII or Section I by request.
We support the ocean-going fleet with a staff of engineers and field service technicians who are always “on-call.” We consistently have a technician on board a vessel within twelve hours of a call for help. With offices in Ohio and Houston, we can also service the gulf coast and east coast within 24 hours for our ocean-going customers.
