Heaters for Inland River Barges
Volcanic has supplied on-deck heaters for inland river barges for more than 70 years. These rugged and durable thermal fluid heaters are used to heat cargo such as asphalt, bunker oil, crude oil, sulfur, and supersaturated solutions of salts. They ship skid mounted, ready for service on the barge. They meet all US Coast Guard requirements. Our heating coils are ASME code stamped to section VIII or Section I by request.
We support the inland fleet with a staff of engineers and field service technicians who are always “on-call.” We consistently have a technician on board a vessel within twelve hours of a call for help. With offices in Ohio and Houston, we can also service the gulf coast and east coast within 24 hours for our ocean-going customers.
